A short void-of-course Moon cycle in Virgo occurs as the Moon and Sun trine in earth signs (9:49AM PDT). This void lunar time-span only lasts until 10:08AM PDT when the Moon enters Libra. Under Libra Moon during the next 2+ days, the goal is to improve the quality of your primary partnerships and to find new ways to excel as a creative artist. This is an interesting insight. What comes to mind for me is the Virgo/Pisces polarity and its role in digestion of both the mind and in the physical sense. Here we can see how an individual’s predisposition, depending on the location and influence of the two signs in the chart, can manifest through the digestive systems.

Virgo / Pisces: The Digestive / Immune Axis

Body Parts: intestines, GI tract, colon, lymphatic system, hepatic portal system, liver, immune system
     In the process of digestion and assimilation, nutrient substances from outside the self are taken in and incorporated into the self. Since the immune system defends the self from the not-self, digestion and assimilation, through which the not-self is converted into the self, is deeply concerned with immunity and potential threats and challenges thereto. This is the essence of the Virgo / Pisces, or Digestive / Immune Axis.
     The Virgo / Pisces axis has a Mutable modality, so it has a sensitive, allergic nature. Since its polarity is Yin or receptive, sensitivities or allergies towards the heavier, more substantial things we take into our body, or food, are indicated.
     Virgo rules the intestines, whereas Pisces rules the liver and hepatic portal system, which absorbs and processes the nutrients digested in the intestines. Pisces also rules the lymphatic system and impurities or contaminations of it, which can be absorbed from the food we eat, and can compromise immunity.
     With the Virgo / Pisces axis emphasized in the natal horoscope, the whole digestion and assimilation process is challenged, with faults and defects in these aspects of pepsis leading to allergic conditions and immune problems. Included among these are assimilation disorders, candidiasis and imbalances of intestinal flora, and leaky gut syndrome.
     The Melancholic nature of Virgo tends towards excessive fussiness, rigidity or austerity in dietary matters, whereas the Phlegmatic fogginess and S[a]nguine self indulgence of Pisces lean towards the other e[x]treme of excess and indiscretion. And so, there may also be problems achieving balance and regulation in dietary matters, and dietary self-sabotage.
     Psychosomatically, confusion and issues concerning self versus others and personal boundaries connected with this axis can contribute to digestive and immune problems. *

Cymatics of Neptune

This video is a cymatic visualization of the sounds of Neptune, recorded by NASA’s Voyager space probe.

“The Voyager program was a series of United States unmanned space missions consisting of a pair of unmanned scientific probes, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2. They were launched in 1977 to take advantage of a favorable planetary alignment of the late 1970s. Although they were officially designated to study just Jupiter and Saturn, the two probes were able to continue their mission into the outer solar system. The Voyager spacecrafts each had equipment capable of recording emission signals given off by the planets, their moons and their ring systems. These pieces of equipment are designated as planetary radio astronomy investigation instruments (PRA) and are used in radio astronomy. Recordings were made capturing interactions of the solar wind with the planet’s magnetosphere, magnetosphere itself, electromagnetic fields, charged particles emissions, charged particle interactions of the planet, its moons, and the solar wind. All this electromagnetic phenomenons can be transformed into electric signals, which can in turn be amplified and used to excite the membrane of a loud speaker ; thus making audible to the human ear the rustling of the cosmos. This video is a demonstration of cymatics in action. Cymatics, or the study of form produced by sound, is one of intriguing mystery, as it portends that vibration is the precursor to form. Hence, creation exists solely from the existence of vibration, which expresses itself as sound.

This means that the impact of sound on natural systems is indeed a key component in the manifestations inherent in that system.

Margaret Watts-Hughs, creator of the Eidophone (a type of recording instrument which displayed patterns of sounds as sung through a tube) noted patterns present in the emanations from the Eidophone which were also prevalent in nature.

A quote from an article written by her expresses her interest in the natural manifestations of sound forms.

‘… I have gone on singing into shape these particular forms, and stepping out of doors, have seen their parallels in the flowers, ferns, and trees around me; and again, as I have watched the little heaps in the formation of the floral figures gather themselves up and then shoot out their petals, just as the flower springs from the swollen bud’ the hope has come to me that these humble experiments may afford some suggestions in regard to nature’s production of her own beautiful forms. *

These patterns are intricately linked to sacred geometry. Often, they may mimic the Flower of Life, Metatron’s Cube, or similar.This reveals an intimate interconnectedness of all creative forms.

Dr. Hans Jenny, a swiss medical doctor, often called the “Father of Cymatics” coined the term Kymatic from the Greek kuma meaning “billow” or “wave”, describing the behavior of the formations made by sound.

Despite the relative simplicity of the concept, the study of cymatics has profoundly large-ranging implications. Cymatics helps to explain the effect of sound and music on the human body systems. There are many sound healing systems which use sound as an important factor, such as the Solfeggio tones*, which are reportedly used to repair damaged DNA.

As for the general effect of sound on the human body:

The truth is that sound creates a dynamic [mandala]-like pattern in every water molecule of your entire body. And, since your body is 90% water, the effect on your whole system is dramatic. In fact, your entire body (especially your skin) is actually an ear. When you consider the findings of Dr. Emoto, which prove that your intention changes the structure of water, then it becomes clear how sound and intention can create extraordinary changes in your body and consciousness.*

The most fascinating findings about cymatics are the correlations between sacred languages and cymatic forms:

In his research with the tonoscope, Jenny noticed that when the vowels of the ancient languages of Hebrew and Sanskrit were pronounced, the sand took the shape of the written symbols for these vowels, while our modern languages, on the other hand, did not generate the same result! How is this possible? Did the ancient Hebrews and Indians know this? Is there something to the concept of “sacred language,” which both of these are sometimes called? What qualities do these “sacred languages,” among which Tibetan, Egyptian and Chinese are often numbered, possess? Do they have the power to influence and transform physical reality, to create things through their inherent power, or, to take a concrete example, through the recitation or singing of sacred texts, to heal a person who has gone “out of tune”? *

Cymatic patterns have also been identified in crop circles and may be linked to Egyptian Heiroglyphics. Further study of this incredible phenomenon could completely change the way Science as a whole views the universe.
